Bella and the Bulldogs

Bill created hundreds of visual effects for 37 episodes of Bella and the Bulldogs, and was sometimes on-set VFX Supervisor. From green screens to set extensions, and most everything in between, the visual effects in the show ran the gamut.

 

Extensive use of green screen was employed in many sequences, including several driving scenes,  “news reports,” and shots that would otherwise be dangerous or impossible.

Many establishing shots were created by using stock shots and adding CG elements to customize them for a specific scene. Often, day and night version were also created.

In one episode, a flag was inadvertently hung upside down.  This occurred in dozens of shots, and required extensive camera tracking and roto work to fix.
